BEING A SECRET CHANGE AGENT

BEING A SECRET CHANGE AGENT

July 19, 2017 Positive. People. 0

Today’s “Triple P” post is about BEING A SECRET CHANGE AGENT.

No I didn’t say secret agent, I said change agent. Using your talents, skills, and influence to help make our communities, country and world a better place is one of the highest forms of consciousness. To think we have the power to help others and change their lives for the better is something that gets me out of bed in the morning.

Here are a few sophisticated, super high-tech “mental gadgets” you can use to become a top-notch change agent – an agent of change.

1) MIND MACHINE. In all the James Bond movies he had complete control of his mind and was able to outsmart the villains. The most important tool in our entire body is the mind. The mind is so important because it controls thoughts, habits, and ultimately our actions. If the mind is not centered, directed, and focused on our purpose, it has a tendency to wander in a direction on its own. Control your mind and don’t let your mind control you.

2) LETTING THE OIL OUT OF THE BACK OF THE CAR. To get away from the bad guys James Bond always had a car that would create an oil slick causing the bad guys to slip and slide and crash their cars. In life we sometimes get chased by bad guys. The sinister villains can come in the form of toxic relationships, bad business associates, or even our own self. Hit your “mental, emotional, and psychological” oil slick, not to cause others to crash, but to get them away from you. Don’t allow the wrong people to attach themselves to the “life bumper” of your car.

3) THE EXPLOSIVE RING. When 007 was in a pinch, he always had the ability to use his ring to blow things up. In life, metaphorically speaking, we have to sometimes blow things up in order to continue to move forward. Explosive growth in our lives is sometimes the result of us taking massive “explosive” action on our own behalf. Blow the conventional wisdom, the naysayers, and boring mundane thinking out of your consciousness and become the person you always dreamed of becoming.

TAKEAWAY: In life we don’t need to be a secret agent to achieve our purpose. We do need to become a change agent. This means changing our thinking, circle of friends, and life circumstances to give us a distinct competitive edge in life. Hopefully, your goal will include some part of giving back to the community and the world in which we live to make things better for all of us. Be the change you seek in the world.
