DON’T COMPROMISE YOURSELF
DON’T COMPROMISE YOURSELF TO BE “LIKED” BY OTHERS.
Mostly everything in our society is geared toward people trying to sell us something. Besides the obvious materialistic things, people often try to sell us their belief systems, ideas, or habits. This can be both good and bad.
Taking advantage of others, using them for your own purposes whereby they receive nothing of value in exchange is bad. It’s called Karma.
On the other hand, there are many people we can learn from that could help us build self-esteem and self-confidence, open our minds to fresh new ideas, and help us get from where we are to where we would like to be, these are examples of good help and habits.
So why then do so many people deliberately choose pain, drama, and distraction over happiness, joy, and self-fulfillment?
The potential answer: The strong desire to be “liked” and accepted.
Learn to appreciate, love and ultimately accept you for your unique, talents, skills, and abilities. You will “like” yourself better in the long run.
