RELENTLESS
Today’s “Triple P” post or positive post for the posse is about being RELENTLESS.
rəˈlen(t)ləs/
adjective 1. oppressively constant; incessant.”the relentless heat of the desert” 2. synonyms: 3. persistent, continuing, constant, continual, continuous, nonstop, never-ending, unabating, interminable, incessant, unceasing, endless, unending, unremitting, unrelenting, unrelieved Life is always going to throw us curve balls. It’s just the way it is. But if you are RELENTLESS in your pursuit you can and will succeed. That’s also how life works.
There are three questions I ask myself and I keep at the forefront of my mind to achieve goals. I’ll share them with you right now.
What? Why? Who?
1). What is it I really want to do with my life? This simple little question can have a big impact on forcing you to focus your mind on what you really want.
I wanted to get involved in public service, real estate, international activities, and above all, help people pursue their dreams. This is what I wanted to do when I discovered my “what” in life.
2). Why do you want to do your “what?” This is key because this is the source of your motivation. This is what drives you. My “why” was to change my environment and thinking so I could have a better life for myself. Later, when my daughter was born, my “why” got really serious. What’s your “why” or reasons you want what you want in life?
3). Who do you need to meet and/or collaborate with to make it happen. As Les Brown would say,”We only have enough energy to take us so far in life, and then we need to connect with others to take us to the next level.” Find out who YOUR who is and start connecting today. I can’t count the number of people who have helped me along the way. DON’T BE AFRAID OR EMBARRASSED TO ASK FOR HELP!!!
Remember, you gotta be RELENTLESS in pursuit of your dreams!
