SERIAL CEREAL IGNORANCE

SERIAL CEREAL IGNORANCE

September 20, 2017 Positive. People. 0

Today’s “Triple P” post or positive post for the posse is about SERIAL CEREAL IGNORANCE.

So a person gets a knock on the door at 8AM. When the person answers the door, the knocker exclaims: YOU HAVE JUST WON A MILLION DOLLARS!! The person answering the door states, “Why did you have to come by so early?”

Do you know people who always find something to complain about no matter what the set of circumstances? When something nice, exciting, or wonderful happens to you, they ALWAYS find a way to inject negativity into the environment. I knew people like this. I say I knew them because ultimately I drop them like a bad habit.

Here are a few types of people you may want to be on the lookout for on your journey to greatness. Avoid these destroyers of positivity, joy, and happiness at all costs. By the way I used to eat a lot of cereal when I was a kid. People remind me of cereal sometimes.

1). THE ANGRY FROSTED MINI WHEAT. This is a person who appears nice on one side but is really mean and nasty on the other side. This two faced chameleon will smile in your face and pretend to be your friend while constantly probing to find ways to undermine you. Don’t be fooled by their outward demeanor masking their vile motives.

2). THE FRUIT LOOP. This insidious non courageous creature secretly admires you deep down inside but can’t bring him or herself to say anything kind directly to you. They make little snide comments masked in humor and other forms of communication, but will never say it to you. To acknowledge the success of others psychologically cuts them to deep.

3). THE FROSTED FLAKE WITH NUTS. They click and they visit, and when they are done, they click and visit again and again. They do this out of a perverted obligation to know what you are up to. You are the object of their affection and disdain. This mental jujitsu ties them up emotionally. They live for controversial happenings occurring in your life so they can feel better about their own pathetic boring, mundane, routine lives. Love them anyway.

TAKEAWAY: While these descriptions may sound harsh to some, it is important to know, detractors, naysayers, and critics are all haters of themselves at a very basic human level. They actually admire your life, accomplishments, and personality. The problem is they simply cannot be you. This is the crux of the disease – they should not want to be someone they are not. Instead they should focus on developing their own unique, talents, skills, and abilities. Beware of spouses, boyfriends/girlfriends, so called friends, relatives, etc. who pretend to be in your corner but really want to see you fall flat on your face. Remember, misery loves company. Don’t love misery because you don’t need that kind of company.
