RISING UP INSIDE YOURSELF

RISING UP INSIDE YOURSELF

September 13, 2017 Positive. People. 0

Today’s “Triple P” post or positive post for the posse is about RISING UP INSIDE YOURSELF.

How many of you know people who are comfortable in their own lives, but never take a stand on an important issue or on behalf of someone less fortunate? I have never been able to NOT do this and have no problem paying the political, social, economic and financial price for standing up for what I believe is right.

I take a stand on behalf of others when many people remain silent. I believe this is the only way to live. Here are a few reasons you should consider doing this and not worry about the ramifications.

1). BEING OSTRACIZED. Most people want to fit in with a group and not rock the boat for fear of getting kicked out of the “friend or family boat.” If you follow the crowd, you will never get further than the crowd. Therefore, being your authentic and true self is the only option. Don’t fear being ostracized by the crowd because naturally you will gravitate towards the “likeminded doers” in life reaping untold benefits.

2). BEHIND YOUR BACK CHATTER. No matter who you are or who you think you are, people are going to ALWAYS talk trash about you. This is especially true if you are successful, confident, and motivated. Personally, it’s all I can do to mind my own business let alone find time to gossip about other people’s lives. Stay focused on your goals and become massively successful at whatever turns you on. Give them something to REALLY talk about. Don’t worry about jealous, envious, backstabbers because life is simply too short to do so.

3). ECONOMICS 101: Money is a necessary part of life. However, in my opinion, it should not be the ONLY focus of life. Consider instead using your resources to help those who truly need and appreciate a little help. However, don’t do so at the expense of neglecting your own business. Remember, sometimes helping a drowning person is fine so long as he doesn’t pull you down as well. Exercise sound judgment and use your resources wisely. Don’t let ‘the system” quietly take your voice for a few pieces of silver.

TAKEAWAY: Don’t silence the voice of those who are standing up against social injustice, instead join them in eradicating it. Don’t allow fear of being alone and isolated from groupthink keep you from speaking up when you know in your heart you should say something about it. Let the haters hate while you continue your forward momentum. Lastly, there is no such thing as job security in America today. The world is simply changing too fast. Don’t allow a few pennies paid to you every two weeks to silence you year after year. Stand up for yourself and one another to expand your social level of consciousness and our collective life experience while we are here on the planet.
